Montgomery, Alabama
William K. Abell graduated from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 1979 after receiving a Bachelors degree from Troy State University cum laude in 1973. During law school, he served as President of Sigma Delta Kappa legal fraternity. Upon graduation, he went on to practice in the areas of criminal, civil and domestic litigation. Today he is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Alabama and practices primarily in the area of catastrophic injury claims, workers compensation and personal injury. He has recovered many substantial verdicts for his clients. He serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers. He has served as a featured speaker at seminars throughout the state in the area of workers compensation and several of his course curriculum handouts have been published. He has co-authored The Trial Handbook for Alabama Lawyers, 2nd Edition.
